Roufusport specializes in Mixed Martial
Arts (MMA), Muay Thai based Roufus Kickboxing, Boxing, Brazilian
Jiu-Jitsu and Wrestling for adults and children as young
as 8.

OVERVIEW
Roufusport Mixed Martial Arts Academy offers
specialized group classes and private lessons in contemporary
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Muay Thai based Roufus Kickboxing-with
emphasis on the "sweet science" of Boxing (Muay
Thai is the 700 year old national sport of Thailand), Boxing,
Brazilian Gi Jiu-Jitsu and Wrestling for adults and children
as young as 8.
If you are looking for a really great workout,
our MMA, Roufus Kickboxing, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
and Wrestling classes provide the perfect answer (and results),
in addition to offering great stress relief.
Our modern, academic style program, is designed
to accommodate students of all levels and ability. While
the training is as real as it gets, Roufusport Mixed Martial
Arts Academy realizes that not everyone shares the same
ambitions or desires.
If maintaining or elevating your fitness level is your goal, our unique, one-of-a-kind program allows you to learn all of the correct offensive and defensive techniques of each combat sport while delivering a fantastic, highly physical cardio workout. No student is ever forced to "fight" or spar. You decide how far and to what level you want to take your training.

With that in mind, legendary trainer and 4-Time World Kickboxing Champion, Duke Roufus, drawing upon 37 years of experience, has developed a system that delivers an excellent, full body workout without compromising the teaching and education of proper and correct technique, form, movement and style.
Duke Roufus is regarded as one of the most knowledgeable, technically proficient Kickboxing and MMA trainers in the world and has been involved in the Martial Arts, Kickboxing and Boxing community since he was 4 years old.
Duke created a training system that anyone can utilize. From true beginners to battle tested veterans, everyone practices at their own level and ability.

TAKE YOUR FIRST INTRO SESSION FREE!!
At Roufusport Martial Arts Academy your 1st introductory session is FREE, but an appointment is required. You assume no obligation to join by taking (or having your child take) the free introductory session.
• Once you or your child becomes a student
at Roufusport, proper training equipment will need to be
purchased, including a Jiu-Jitsu Gi and/or martial arts
uniform, Intro to MMA, Kickboxing and/or Boxing level shirt,
16 oz. Boxing gloves, shin guards, hand wraps and mouth
guard.
While we recommend students purchase the
highest quality gear available, MMA, Kickboxing and Jiu-Jitsu
are relatively inexpensive sports to fully and properly
equip oneself for. Academy staff can advise you on what
equipment will be needed once it is determined what programs
will be attended. A fully stocked Pro Shop is on-site featuring
professional grade training equipment.
All you need to wear for the free Roufus
Kickboxing or Boxing introductory session is a loose fitting
T-shirt and shorts (above the knee), or for the free Jiu-Jitsu
or Kids Martial Arts class, a pair of cotton sweat pants
that tie securely at the waist and a long sleeve t-shirt
or sweatshirt (nothing sharp on shorts, pants or shirts:
no zippers, rivets, buttons, etc...).
• Members train barefoot or may wear elastic ankle supports, boxing, wrestling or martial arts shoes.
• Students younger than 18 need to have a parent or legal guardian come with them to the academy and sign a release form prior to taking any class.
